Join our friendly, fun-loving farm family as an
apprentice/intern to help us run our 50-acre biodynamic/organic
farm. This includes growing our 4-5 acre market garden with a
CSA and farmer's market component as well as helping to care for
the animals (cows, pigs, sheep, horses, fowl, and rabbits).
Caring for the bees (we are home to the bee sanctuary) is
optional. Our farm is located in the beautiful Hudson River
Valley in Claverack, New York just 15 minutes to quaint downtown
Hudson, and central to many progressive, well-established,
sustainable farms.

Furnished accommodations (either a 1 bedroom apartment
attached to the 1840s farm house or a very nice mobile home with
all amenities situated in a private area of the woodlands) with all
utilities, access to telephone and internet, CRAFT membership, room
to test/grow your own pet projects and possible vehicle. Free
produce and some meats. Stipend of $800 per month and
higher depending on skills and experience. Applicants
should have some experience growing vegetables and understand that
the positions entail rewarding, but long physically demanding days
during an approximate five-to-six day work week.
Tractor experience helpful. Please send resume or relevant
experience (include telephone number) to
cowberrycrossingfarm@gmail.com.
